Personal: I had the pleasure of growing up in the Ottawa Valley in the small and beautiful town of Perth. I moved to Ottawa to attain my post-secondary education and have never left. I completed my education in Computer Engineering Technology, hung my diploma on the wall, and then went into real estate. My wife and I were married October 14th, 2006 in her hometown of Pictou, Nova Scotia. On January 20th, 2008 we welcomed the newest addition to our family; our daughter Olivia. Business: I have worked for RE/MAX for many years and in just about every capacity available to me. This has given me the unique ability to see how the real estate industry works from the ground up and therefore allows me to understand every facet of the business. I proudly look back on my achievements with RE/MAX, including acheiving sales awards every year since I joined, including my 100% award in 2009! I am very active in the political side of real estate and therefore am currently sitting on three committees this year. I have been asked to sit on a commitee for CREA (Canadian Real Estate Association) called the Young Members Task Force which is a group of young REALTORS representing many cities all across Canada and is being asked to report to the senior members at CREA on the views of young REALTORS in Canada. I also sit on and IBOX committee as well as the Government Relations Committee for the Ottawa Real Estate Board. |
